- as required Chopped coriander leaves for garnish

- Wash and soak moong dal in water for half an hour. In a kadai heat 1/2 cup water. When it comes to boil add soaked moong dal (without water).


- Add salt, turmeric powder and red chili powder. Cook dal on low flame until all water absorbs. (Grains should be remain seperated. Don't over cook)


- Add chopped Mint leaves and amchur powder. Mix well. Stuffing is ready. Transfer into a bowl and cool down at room temperature.


- Boil potatoes in pressure cooker. Remove skin and mash them. In a mixing bowl take boiled and mashed potatoes. Add salt, chat masala, crushed green chillies, chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice. Add rice flour and combine all ingredients well.

- Prepare equal size balls (8-9) from it. Take a ball, make katori shape and fill prepared moong dal stuffing (2 teaspoon). Seal it and slightly flatten with palm. Prepare all tikkis like this.


- Heat nonstick tawa or grill pan. Coat tikkis with rice flour. Remove extra flour. Cook tikkis on both sides on tawa or grill pan until golden.
