- For Dosa Batter:
- 1/2 cup Semolina
- 1/2 cup rice flour
- 1 tsp curd
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 1 chopped chilli
- 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper

- 4 cups water
- 1 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp Chopped coriander
- Oil for roasting
- For Masala of Dosa
- 3 boiled potatoes
- 1 Sliced onion
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1/4 tsp Urad Dal
- 1/4 tsp Chana Dal
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp Chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp Dry Mango Powder/ Amchur powder
- 1/4 tsp Garam masala
- Salt as per taste
- 1 tsp Chopped coriander
- 1 tsp Oil
Steps to make to make Rava Masala Dosa
- In a mixing bowl, take semolina and rice flour
- To it add 1 tsp curd
- Add 2 cups of water and mix well. Make sure there are no lumps.
- In the batter add chopped chilli, cumin, black, coriander and chopped onion.
- Add 2 cups of water. Mix well. The batter should be in consistency of buttermilk. Keep the batter for 15-20 minutes so that rava absorbs water.
- In a meantime, heat a kadhai add oil, cumin, Mustard seeds. To that add Urad dal and chana Dal and stir on low flame for 1 minute.
- Add sliced onion and mix for 2 minutes till onion becomes light brown. Once onion become soft add turmeric powder, chilli powder and dry mango powder. Mix well on low flame for 1 minute
- Add boiled potatoes and salt as per taste. Mix well on low flame for 2 minutes
- Add Garam Masala and Coriander leaves
- Masala is ready for stuffing
- Heat non stick tawa. Mix the batter well and once the tawa is hot pour the batter on tawa. Keep the flame medium high for 1 minute. Spread 1 tsp of oil uniformly
- Lower the flame and cook till dosa turns golden and crisp. Add masala.
